Since coming to Power Brain, my daughter has grown in incredible ways.  The classes are teaching my child how to strengthen her mind-body connection through physical exercise, such as Tai Chi and Yoga, and emotional regulation practices.  She is learning how to express her emotions in productive ways, instead of acting out in an aggressive manner. She has made meaningful connections with her peers and forming positive relationships with other children.  Dave and the rest of the staff at Power Brain have changed our lives!

Our 5-year old son Stephen loves taking classes at Syosset PBTC.  Through the Power Brain Education curriculum, he has learned to focus better, to never give up, and to participate confidently in class.  His kindergarten teacher recently wrote in his progress report that "During group discussions, Stephen is eager to express his ideas and exhibits self-confidence.  He also demonstrates a positive attitude towards learning new things and shows creativity and imagination."  We are very happy with his progress and highly recommend Power Brain Education to all parents who want their children to utilize their brain to its full potential.

As a working mom I found PBTC to be an oasis for the body/mind/spirit connection.   A place where I can deepen my practice of being a peaceful citizen of the world. What is special about this place is that every class is mixed in every possible way you can think. Age, gender, creed, none of it matters. Senior citizens, teens, and everyone in between can be found on any given day pushing beyond their personal limits in class. Stretching, body tapping and vibrational brainwave exercises are essential components that bring about increased awareness and allow for growth on multiple levels. No wonder everyone leaves class smiling. Naturally I love taking classes here, where I feel encouraged to release and recharge.to be an oasis for the body/mind/spirit connection, like many yoga centers are. Since recently my sons Max (10) and Benjamin (4 1/2) are taking classes too, specifically geared towards kids. Max has always been self- propelled in enjoying academic achievement, but has started to perceive the focus on performance at his school as an unwelcome pressure, particularly expressed in the amount of homework and class assignments. I am confident that with the help of PBTC's experienced and talented staff under Dave Beal's guidance, Max will get through the challenges he is facing at school. I am confident it can help him refocus and push beyond his personal limitations.
