Get Started - Children

The evaluation for children, known as “Power Brain Check Up 1” is a comprehensive initial assessment of the child’s physical, emotional and cognitive health, which, coupled with the parent survey, gives our instructors a solid picture of the child and his/her strengths and needs.  The Check Up consists of the following:

·       Strength/Flexibility/Circulation Check:  We administer some core BE exercises as well as a basic acupressure check to assess the energy circulation in the body and brain.

·       Self Esteem/Emotional Intelligence Check:  The child answers a variety of questions about themselves, their habits, and their self-concept.

·       Cognitive Check:  Students perform a series of brain circuit drawings to assess their right/left brain integration.

Following the evaluation, our instructors discuss the evaluation and the parent survey with the parent.  With this clear picture of the child, the instructor can offer informed suggestions regarding how the BE programs can best benefit the child and answer any questions the parent may have.
